As we continue our exploration of the Chakras, I’ll be focusing on them individually to give you a better idea of what they are and how to take care of them. The Sacral Chakra is located in the lower abdomen and is most heavily associated with pleasure. All the things that enrich life are fuel for the fire of the Sacral Chakra, which is why many associate it with sexuality and love.

The trick to keeping this Chakra open and healthy is emotional balance. It may be all about pleasure, but you must know there are limits to how much you can allow yourself to indulge. So feel free to enjoy life’s little pleasures, but in a way that’s healthy for your body and mind.

The Sacral Chakra will also close if you’re blocking out your emotions or letting them take over your life. When meditating and healing this Chakra, try to address the imbalances in your emotional life. Your emotions need to flow in order to keep this Chakra open, so take time to make sure that you don’t let yourself become overwhelmed.
